This vegetable slicer/shredder attachment connects to any compatible general purpose mixer that features a #12 drive hub. It’s the perfect appliance for smaller restaurants and commercial establishments as it offers a smart solution for kitchens with limited space or that only require a vegetable processor on occasion.
This vegetable slicer/shredder set comes equipped with the housing, door, pusher, and disc holder frame that allows you to use a variety of shredding and grating discs.
Select between six stainless steel shredding or grating discs (sold separately) that are compatible with this attachment. The shredder discs each feature holes of varying sizes between 2.3 mm and 12 mm, allowing you to control the thickness of your vegetable shreds.
To use this processor, simply install your desired disc, close and lock the door to the housing and turn on your mixer. With a bowl or container placed underneath the attachment, you can then lift up the pusher using the lever on the side of the unit and place your vegetables into the shoot. Always use the pusher to push your vegetables through the rapidly spinning discs in order to avoid serious injury.
