This self-contained unit enables you to convert almost any space into a cooking area without the need for ductwork or the expenses associated with typical ventilation systems. It keeps your kitchen environment fresh and grease-free without demanding extensive modifications to your establishment. This makes it particularly suitable for leased premises, food courts, historical buildings, or any location where installing a type 1 hood is challenging. Its innovative design boasts a 1500 CFM exhaust rating and features triple-layer filtration, comprising a stainless steel baffle filter for trapping grease particles, a wire mesh filter for eliminating smoke and condensation, and a charcoal filter for reducing cooking odours.
Safety is paramount with this hood system. An interlock mechanism ensures that the equipment beneath the hood cannot be operated unless the hood itself is switched on. Additionally, a color-coded illuminated alert system signals that the system is functioning safely and efficiently. Furthermore, a fully integrated Ansul R-102 wet chemical system is provided for superior flame suppression and control in case of fire incidents, simplifying the installation process.
Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel, the hood frame features removable side panels for easy cleaning. Casters, including swiveling and locking front casters, are included to facilitate the movement and installation of the hood. This system is specifically designed for electric cooking equipment and is not compatible with gas appliances. It accommodates equipment measuring up to 48" wide and 30" deep, with a total electrical capacity of up to 75A (6A allocated for the hood). Each piece of equipment placed under the hood must have a surface area of 470 square inches or less, while fryers should not exceed an 85 lb. oil capacity. Clearance of 18" is required above the hood body to the ceiling, 12" above the damper, and 30" on the pull station side. The hood must be hard-wired, and all equipment connections must be undertaken by a certified electrician, as it does not come with a cord and plug.
